Memorial Service for Professor Dale McGilliard

A memorial service in honor of MTSU Professor Dale McGilliard, who passed on December 28, is scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. in Tucker Theatre. The service will give tribute to the lasting impact that McGilliard had on the lives of students, colleagues, and friends during his life.

A lifelong educator, McGilliard taught a variety of acting classes at MTSU while also serving as head of Performance Studies, coordinator of Theatre, and associate chair of Speech and Theatre during his 18 years at the university. McGilliard also headed the Tennessee Governor¹s School for the Arts. An accomplished theatrician whose passion was musical theatre, McGilliard directed over 25 plays while on the faculty, including recent productions of Oklahoma, Cabaret, and The Rocky Horror Show. In his capacity as teacher and director, Dale had a positive and lasting impact on hundreds of students throughout Tennessee and the nation. Join us to pay tribute to our friend and colleague Dale McGilliard.

IDS 125 “Hubba Hubba Hubba”

So we left off last time with our drinking swurve on…and the partying has been off the hook as well as the chain not to mention several other things which we certainly won’t mention in mixed company.  Not again anyways.  Tee still has several welts…that’s all I got to say about that.  Well, except to say that he’s still pretty spry for a man of his age and weight.  I have seemed to hold up well all things considered…but we are at despair’s edge…all we have left is some chilled PBR.  Not that we condone 8 days of non-stop binge drinking…but the hallucinations start to become REALLY interesting on day 4….(simmer down clarabelle! I’m typing here)  Cartoon Cows…whaddya do!

So…what was I talking about…err, writing…aahh, typing on this thing for?  The whoseewhatsit on the thingamahbob…Show nOtes…let’s see:

Happy New Year in many tongues…ugh…oh…yeah…there are alot of tongues I have found.  I would not suggest some of them but if experimentation is your thing…give’em a shot.  Cuz, let’s be honest here who am I to judge.

But cha gotta know your histroy because sometimes new years wuz in March and sumtymes it was in Janurary.  Beliefit or knot sometimes it just wasn’t…
